Sexual pluralism is non-reproductive sexual activity with more than two persns present or participating. Although sexual pluralism has long been practiced by many cultures. It ha only recently com to light as a researchable phenomenon. The following are a few varieties of sexual pluralism in the U.S. today. The Secret Affair - uni or bilateral. Usually characterized by guilt and apprehension within a primary relationship. Serial Polygamy - String of broken monogamous type marriages. Mate Swapping - Usually wife swapping two or more couples switch off and retire to private rooms. Swinging - Open group sex. Lots of people, lots of orgasms. Strict anonymity generally recognized. Open-Ended Sensuality - Pure sensual enjoyment which may even transcend genital sexuality.
